Hi aGeoM please try:

www.xdevs.com\sli\HALMod v0.71 alpha .ZIP

if it doesn't work, then try:

www.xdevs.com\sli\HALMod v0.7 alpha.ZIP

GPU-Z and nHancer recognize the system as "SLI availbable" but also say: "Disabled".
(See attached screenshot).

Seems to be the only solution.

As suggested I tried to use the modified drivers without HAL-Mod: No SLI.
Then I installed the HAL-Mod for XP 32bit: No change, except that the Chipset has been recognized as X58.

Now I have to find someone with the Supermicro C7X58. No SLI for me. :-(

9800GTX SLI on a Rampage Formula

Hi guys

I gave the guide lines that aGeoM gave in post 923 a shot with my Rampage Formula and some XFX 9800GTX Black Edition

It worked the first time, really awesome, rather easy to implement it too, thanks guys for all the hard work you have put down.

I have to register to this forum so that I could thank you all, you should have all the credit there´s, much appreciated.

Only thing I have noticed so far is that the fans do not go down after a 3D app is done, they still at the same rpm as at full load. Someone else have that issue?

Here´s some screenies

A quick test with Crysis, Rampage Formula / Q9650@3,0GHz / 2x2 OCZ Blade LV PC-9600@1066 555 15

Single

SLI

A quick test with Stalker Clear Sky, same setup.

Single

SLI

Here´s some more Crysis tests, pretty good I most say.

Rampage Formula / Q9650@4,05GHz / 2x2 OCZ Blade PC-9600@1200 555 15 Strong tRD6

Single

SLI

and here´s some 3DMark06

Single

SLI

I didn't place original HAL back on. The BSDO happened during driver instal.

Gonna test 191 WHQL drivers now.
