Copy sector by sector
Hey great folks of TPU!
One of my main disks have decided to die. Now i need some kind of program - bootable or windows thingy - that can copy sector by sector, as most of the files is damaged. Anyone know of a program that can do that? Dosnt matter if it costs anything Im ready to spend the money for a program.

Is it all the way dead or just starting to go out?

Its starting to go out - the drives sectors are about to die, and already lost a few of em. So i need to get as much data out as possible
so i need a program that clone sectors and dosnt just stop, when it finds something thats damaged. Atm im trying to copy everything with TeraCopy (awesome program, that takes over the normal copy stuff from microsoft), but its really really slow.

you're best to leave it be, and just wait - you'll get more data that way.

I just dont think thats the problem with the speed. Most files gets transfered with about 45mb\sec. But when the program hits something thats corrupted, it kinda grinds to a halt. Like, a hour ago it started to copy a 65mb file that i kinda already know is corrupted. And its still trying to copying it. I just need something that copies whatever it can, and as soon as it finds something that it cant copy cause of read errors, it has to skip it.

As an FYI to all R-Studio is one of the better commercial packages available. Geared towards enterprise but if your data is really important to you...
