So what is everyone else getting now after getting screwed by MW2?

Just wondering what else is out there right now. Mostly looking for a good multiplayer and maybe something newish or coming out soon.

I know, after DICE took advantage of the IW mistake, that I'm looking to pick up BF Bad Company 2 but maybe something else out there that I've missed....?

Right now Borderlands, I still might pick up MW2...but it won't be until it's bargain bin priced (G2play.net or cdkeysdirect.com, etc), beyond that...I'll stick with BF2, MW, Flatout, and whatever else my clan is playing. Hell I still play Far Cry 2 here and there. But Borderlands looks like it could be a very entertaining game, and even though it's only limited to 4P coop, it still looks like a hoot to play. We'll soon see in a few days.

Yeah Risen is awesome, was planning on buying it but had to pirate it thanks to our moron government

A friend bought me Borderlands in a 4pack in which I don't have to pay for, so as far as I'm concerned it's already a great game :P Otherwise it could be interesting, no loss to me if it isn't lol.

OT: I've started playing WaW again, I like to think it's saying "fuck you" to IW - long live Treyarch I kinda got into it at one stage last year, but due to not knowing where the profile's were kept and a format, I dropped it after I lost my rank and unlocks (I've found them now, thanks to another thread, so hopefully it'll all be savable next format).

I am hoping that Bioware is really gonna lay the hammer on IW this fall/winter. Both Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins look fantastic. Try beating one of these babies in 6 hours.

Currently Replaying Diablo II - Using a nice GlDriver hak that lets you play in a window with working brightness controls (you cant play them old-res games in full screen, it's just too nasty) But Windowed is fine.

And Diablo II game-play kicks the crap out of just about anything else I've played recently.

They will do everything possible to release it somewhere this year. but to manage that, they had to cut a lot of corners and abandon some ideas. (in fact some races will be only in add-on's, later on) They already had closed beta testing done somewhere in september.

damn, I don't want it to be like Heroes, one of the reason Disciples is better than Heroes is because you don't have to move your units...
