MP3 player sync

I have a Creative 8GB mp3 player ad wondering if anyone else has some good suggestions beyond WMP for syncing my library too it.

Songbird can play protected AAC files (only on Windows) and finally broke my reliance on iTunes. Sync'ed with my iPod just fine.

On a "its just too cool" note. Songbird is built on top of Mozilla's engine, so it is basically the most powerful Firefox plugin ever, if you will. It boast a number of cool features, from song search, cover flow, built-in internet radio, really fast syncing, but the coolest is the concert ticket search. You enter your zip code and when you are listening to music it will search for concert tickets for the band/artist you are listen to in your area. If it finds them, you can purchase them through songbird's plugin.

Well, Songbird doesn't seem to cut it. I get numerous songs that skip forwards and backwards at times. And sometimes it will even cut to music from a completely different band, then go back to the normal song. Also can't get it to work with my Creative MP3 player, makes me a bit sad, seemed like a nice program.

Wow, really? I am not sure then. I always want to say something is wrong with your Creative MP3 player. Do they supply software for it?

Nah I bought it a while ago, but it worked fine with WMP. Also Songbird just does that skipping on its own when I play tracks on my PC. I looked on their help pages and other people have had the issue, the only other responses on there is "yeah that happens to me too", or no response, not one person ever responded with how to fix it.

I use Winamp... Got the pro version as a 'gift' actually For syncing music, I just drop and drag via Computer since I got a 70 GB music collection, but only a 2 GB player (Creative Zen Stone)

I say Winamp if you must use software. But for my purposes, I usually find explorer to be the best option for handling music on most mp3 players.
