Is FIFA 2010 crap on PC?

Well I was going to get FIFA 10 and I was wondering if its as crap as everyone says, on PC. I heard the console version is great, but I've heard some dis-orienting comments on the quality of graphics FIFA 2010 has to show. Should I get FIFA 10 or get its predessor, FIFA '09 or skip to PES 2010? I'm not a real fan of soccer and love good ol' AFL, but soccer is the only sport I can buy for PC from EA. If I could, I'd get an NBA game. Thanks.

So should I get PES 2010 then? I looked at a few pictures from a PC version, looks quite good and rates quite well.

I would say EA sport games on PC have gone to crap because I absolutely love MLB2k9, NBA2k10 looks and plays well, and can't wait for MLB2k10 to come out on PC.

funny how things change, i used to hate pes and be a fan of fifa but since having a pc and playing fifa 06/07/08 and fifa 2010 its all gone downhill for EA.

on the other hand i realy enjoyed PES 2010 and the graphics are better than fifa in my opinion so if your going to buy any i recommend PES 2010.

As everyone else is telling you, FIFA10 on PC is a piece of crap based on FIFA engine from PS2 days. Not worth a second look.

PES 2010 on PC is identical to PES 2010 on PS3/360....except it runs nicer and you get higher resolutions loads of mods and fan updates.

Yeah, theres a few at my local EBgames shop ranging from $20-$40. I could either get a PS3 type control or a Xbox 360 type control.

you cant use a mouse but the keyboard is a bit shitty i honestly prefer a pad, plus analogue sticks have 360 degrees movement!

the 360 one is great but for cheapness get something else

Not really, I saw a official Microsoft Xbox 360 controller with a game painted on it or something, for $30 which is $27 US.

If you have any old ps1/ps2 or any type of control pads around it might be cheaper to buy a usb converter, i picked mine up for around £7 works fine on xp/vista/win7 works on every game i have tryed so far and even dance pad.

360 controllers are designed to work out of the box to work with windows, PES 2010 is specifically designed around it on the pc so everything is set up default to work with that pad

on other controllers you might have to map buttons
