Pardon me if I don't get this post. I don't know where those numbers came from, and my 250GTS clearly benched better than the 5770 even at a higher res.

Where do you see that you are benching @higher res?

Ohh you got me with the fillrate statement. I don't even have anything for that. The bench @ 1280 is indeed lower. Still though, a 5770 competing with a GTX275? No. 5770s rank among GTX260s in general, if you ignore benches ran at 1280 (nobody runs those anymore--everyone's rolling 1920x1080 now).

I normally run benches at 1440 x 900, and at that resolution, my BFG GTX 285 OCX had a much lower fps than my new 5770....

yes but it seems that ati cards do better in this bench. its not a matter of a 5770 keeping up with a gtx 275 in life but in one particular race

Yeah, the scaling absolutly sucks. Don't see any reason to have both of these cards in one machine.

No OC on that score shevanel.

nice run don!

ive tried several clocks on core/memory like 1000/1300 was max but I cannot score over 5120-25

ive ran furmark 6 times and very similar results so I'm done benching this until the second 5770 arrives.

It tends to favor Nvidia cards HEAVILY. That and it just runs like crap on an ATI rig.
