Thermaltake Unveils Element V NVIDIA Edition Case
Thermaltake announces its collaboration with NVIDIA to design and engineer the Element V NVIDIA Edition, certified for the next-generation of ultra-high performance graphic card based on the most advanced GPU computing architecture, code named Fermi.
NVIDIA shares Thermaltake's commitment to ensure enthusiast community receives the best possible products that delivers performance that is both exciting and second-to-none," commented Tom Deane, Program Manager of NVIDIA. "Through collaboration on the engineering level with world's leading gaming chassis provider, Thermaltake Element V Nvidia Edition is capable of providing the best operating environment for NVIDIA's next generation of enthusiasts graphic cards based on FERMI architecture running on 3-way SLI or Quad SLI." ![]() The critically-acclaimed Element V chassis is a full-tower gaming chassis offering low-noise operation with excellent air-flow. With full-array of innovative designs such as 11 5.25" drive bays that can be configured to support up to 6 3.5" hard disks and native support for one 2.5" hard disk or Solid State Disk (SSD). Bottom mounted power supply cage enables superior thermal management to accelerate hot air removal that can affect the life-span or performance of today's cutting-edge computing hardwares. Convenience feature includes Plug&Play side panel fan that eliminates the need to physically connect the power connector to allow user to open up the side panel for maintenance or upgrade without having to worry about damaging cable wiring. Built-in thermal control system with included fans pre-wired allows users to easily control the speed of the fan, as well as color of the included Colorshift LED fans to adapts to different working! or gaming environment. In addition to the oversized cooling fans, one 230mm Colorshift side intake fan, one 200mm Colorshift top exhaust fan, two 120mm front intake fans and one 120mm rear exhaust fan, found on the standard Element V chassis, Element V Nvidia Edition chassis also incorporated graphic card "air duct" system engineered by Thermaltake and Nvidia to provide added cooling for high-performance 3-way SLI or Quad SLI setup based on NVIDIA's next generation of enthusiast graphic card. The proprietary "air duct" system brings cool and fresh air directly from the outside of the chassis and accelerates it to graphic card's intake to increase heat displacement and achieve optimal cooling efficiency. Without NVIDIA SLI certified chassis, system powered by the next generation of high-performance graphic cards may not be able to operate at their highest setting due to inadequate cooling. Element V is currently available worldwide. Thermaltake commented Element V NVIDIA Edition chassis is currently in final stage of validation and will debut a working sample during 2010 Consumer Electronic Showcase in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 7th to January 10th at its private media suite located in Venetian Hotel Casino. Finally something that nVIDIA fan boys will be proud of. Probably it's best suited for the next generation of half-meter long videocards.

Element V? Sucks.
The Element V sucks. The desing is kind of clumsy and I absolutely hate the sidepanel with the little tiny window. Don't think this version will improve anything except maybe adding a black interior.

They advertise this case as if they have reinvented the wheel, everything has been done long before. And its TT so its probably crap. Maybe not as crappy as their low-end cases, but still nowhere near the real quality case manufacturers.

It's like a cross between the CM HAF 932 and 922, only shittier! And as for "innovative designs such as 11 5.25" drive bays", didn't the original CM Stacker have that years ago?
Maybe TT should consider not totally ripping off their competitors' products sometime, just a thought. Also, LOL @ "air duct".

Lots of hating going on in this thread. Looks like a nice case to me.
If it's between a haf 932 & a haf 922, those are both popular cases. <--- |

Really if you were looking at a case in the price point and design you would not consider the Thermaltake over the HAF series. Even cases from NZXT are looking better than Thermaltake.

Personally I find myself a little bit strange this concept of free advertising one company product. Quote:
But since ATI/Nvidia cards grew by 2 cm with each generation, I was only assuming that their case must be future proof, haha!Quote:
