System Specs

Are they both ATi or both nVidia, or a mix?

You want to merge their performance, get extra monitor outs or mix NVIDIA for physx and ATi for graphics ?

They will not work together and the 7 series doesn't support PhysX, so there's no point in having the 7900 in your system.

That's not what I read. Supposedly you can use both cards, but the latest nvidia drivers will disable physx if an ATI card is detected in the system.

but you can't sli or crossfire them, making the 7900 useless. If it could do physX (which it can't due to having a total different architecture), it would be useful (to a degree) but as it stands, you're best off selling the 7900 or giving it to someone in need of a card
