HighPoint Technologies is announcing the RocketRAID 640 series– the industry’s fastest SATA 6Gb/s RAID host adapters powered by PCI-Express 2.0 x4 bus speeds. I'm sorry, but that's a joke, that's a pair of the Marvell chips, the same chip that Gigabyte use on their motherboards, and a PLX bridge chip... not exactly impressive
