Crysis and Crysis Warhead not working after installing Win7 x64
It isn't often I talk about games but I need some help . Since installing windows7 64 bit I noticed that both my games ( Listed in title ) no longer work . They crash and shut down .
Patched hot fixed and still no luck , even running them in compatibility mode and they still crash . Now I do not have this problem with DEAD Space or BioShock2 or any other game . WHY ? Maybe crysis is not all that good ? ALL PATCHES WERE INSTALLED ALL COMPATIBILITY MODES TRIED AND STILL CRASHES EVERY TIME . I must say it sure sucks when 2 games will not play out of the 60 games I have ! |

If you have the install media I would try a fresh install of the games. If they are Steam games delete the local content and reinstall

You could also try updating punkbuster via pbsetup. Just google pbsetup and it will take you right there.

I run most of my older games in adming and vista sp2 , crysis too , if the game runs ok i leave it there , sometimes compatability messes things up , sometimes it won't at all work without it.
If you patched all up , use x64 exe , not sure if the shortcuts change to bin64 folder automatically , check. What is the crash report? go into the game and search for logs , crysis is very modding friendly (more than MW2 definitely) so there should be some advanced stuff for users in there. Open the log with notepad. |

Well if I really have to resort to taking drastic and almost hacking measures just to get there crap running on my system . funny how every other game works just great . HELL even BIOSHOCK2 went in and ran like a champ ! Maybe some one needs to tell crytech there stuff sucks the big one ?
2 games not going in any time soon I think.... |
