Call of Duty 7 Details Revealed : Black Ops

Call of Duty 7: Black Ops (CoD7) is the next game in the massive Call of Duty (CoD) franchise. In a recent report on Tek9, Activision shared some details about the new CoD game.

Black Ops is scheduled for release in November 2010 and sources indicate the game developed by Treyarch will be set in history, between World War II and present day. It is also hinted that some of the missions will take gamers to Cuba and South America which hints at a Cold War and Vietnam based game.

In true Modern Warfare style, gamers will reportedly get a chance to play as a member of the Special Air Service (SAS) in which players will be involved in close combat during a mission in the Iranian embassy during the 1980’s.

The game is also hinted to feature the popular “zombie mode” where players will get to gun down forces of zombies which was made popular in Call of Duty: World at War.

For South African PC gamers and worldwide PC gamers alike, CoD7 is set to feature dedicated servers. Gamers across the world should put their hands together for Activision who seem to be weeding out the problems with previous titles by re-adding dedicated servers to the franchise.

I some how have a bad taste in my mouth after playing MW2 (maybe it made me puke)....lack of dedicated servers and lag all over the place due to hosts downloading porn.

I hope this wont be anywhere near as bad and may live up to the CoD name unlike the last pile of crap......thats all we can hope for at this point, right??

Aside from that, I'd actually like to play another Nam game....I haven't played one in years.

There is a chance the COD series will capture our attention again but if this fails over like MW2 then it's all over for this series IMO. Putting dedicated servers back in the game will show the PC community that people (even just treyarch) are listening and if done properly they will profit on our platform. I'll be paying attention to this launch and will most likely pick it up if they don't make it completely shitty.

same here most of the time i set my router up so i can be the host and most of the time i am lol, but what pissed me off was how they made the game into a joke with holding 2 guns running non stop and people tubing all the time really made the game into a noob game, but BF BC2 is full of noob tubers and it reacks the game, lest with waw Treyarch made it into a good game and because there a mod group they probley do the same with the server as waw.

Cant wait for the game... I personally though MW2 is one of the best shooters( I only play SP) and Infinity Ward did a great job making COD4 and COD6..

COD WAW was an awesome game for me... The best world war FPS for me.... And I'm so darn excited at the moment for CoD7

No more of my cash will go towards this game series. Never. I dont' know why I don't really like the CoD series.. Well, I did like the Single Player campaigns, graphics look great, and cool effects, but I can never get a handle on the gameplay itself. I guess I do like playing WaW online here and therer. Maybe I'm just too used to the Battlefield series. Activision is milking this franchise way too much. I can't believe they charged for their latest DLC. I guess when you have a rabid, ignorant fan base, you can do what you want.

I dont' know why I don't really like the CoD series.. Well, I did like the Single Player campaigns, graphics look great, and cool effects, but I can never get a handle on the gameplay itself. I guess I do like playing WaW online here and therer. Maybe I'm just too used to the Battlefield series. Activision is milking this franchise way too much. I can't believe they charged for their latest DLC. I guess when you have a rabid, ignorant fan base, you can do what you want. VV NOT COOL! I have a migrane today, now I wish you were near me so I could puke on you.
