New build blue screen problem

Sometime into a game i get the bluescreen error which shuts my computer down and i have to use windows restore, when it does and get back onto my desktop i get this

Check for solution never does anything, and those 2 files that describe the problem, should i delete them? what could be the problem?

Thankyou

Why do you have two threads about the same problem?

Does anyone know what the problem is?, and it says a damaged cable if so, does anyone know which cable?

Thank you

You might want to turn any O/C off, re-set the bios(CMOS), try a different PSU and update your bios/drivers to the latest. Also, you might want to run some memory diagnostics, and check your CPU,GPU, and Board temps. HWInfo32 is a good program for checking temps or CPUID HWMonitor.

Also, it would help everyone for you to enter your Systems specs under your user cp.

Just suggestions.

Run the stress test again and try to get a screen shot of the hwinfo32 monitor page while the test is running and post it.

Yes, it could be the psu, but... it could be any one, or more, of many things.

Did you update that bios and drivers?

After you burn it to CD/DVD, boot to the CD/DVD and run the tests. And, see if they pass or fail.

Or, if you can't get that far, try this:

Windows Memory Diagnostic

1. Click on "Start" and type "memory" into the search programs and files field
2. At the top you will see the entry "Windows Memory Diagnostic", click on it
3. Click on “Restart now and check for problems”

Ok and what am I looking for in these tests? Do they say pass? Fail? Or is it all numbers? Thankyou

I'm not liking that hdtune smart report. That CRC Error count isn't good. That could be the cause of data being corrupted, and that will mess up windows! I would be running more tests on the hard drive, and if you have another one around, try installing windows on that and see if the problem is still there.
