RIP X1950pro.

Complete loss of where the hell im supposed to ask this so, here it goes.

My GPU is on the way out, X1950pro which i've had for far too many years now. Upon retiring this old reliable card i plan on using a HD5770 or 5750 depending on price. I came across a website which offered the HD5770 for a bit cheaper than OCUK/MicroDirect/Aria where i normally buy things from. LambdaTek, but i've never heard of them before, was wondering if anyone has any past experiences with them.

There needs to be a place on TPU-Forums where we can warn people about fake-websites etc.

Just a heads up, the 5850 hits the same clock speeds as a 5870 as long as you can get a reference model. I was about to buy a 5870 myself until the guys here pointed that out to me.
I ordered a 5850 instead, just makes no sense to spend the extra cash for the difference of 1 fps if you overclock the 5850.

i'd grab the 5770 -- and try to get a reference card, as they have voltage adjustments...

I've NEVER heard of LambdaTek -- but they seem to have good customer feedback on google.

No worries dude, it's 3am here, im barely able to focus on the screen.

And yeah, theres a decent enough performance increase to justify the extra £20 anyway

I've benched close to 5770 speeds with my 5750 but not quite as good..it has 80 less SP's
if you can I'd go with the 5770

I recently bought a 5750 for my 2nd rig. And i gotta say it performs really well. It can reach levels of the 5770 almost 95% close.

Sorry about the bad quality. On left is the 5750 stock and on the right is the 5750 OCed using CCC.
