woo! fusion signed up on tpu!

lol.. Hows it going?

this is a slightly stronger version than the 110mw I got. If you look on ebay, you can get a laser cheaper than $500, and www.dragonlasers.com sells a 125mw for $369 i believe..

if you get one, you'll see why theyre so expensive. They're not just laser pointers either.. Really high quality lasers.. Meant to be used for dj equipment, experiments, stuff like that.. more fun to carry around and burn shit though. :-)

laserglows are also nice, but bulky. If you want a pen style one, get a dragonlaser or wicked lasers. Otherwise, the laserglow will be good enough.

How long is the coherence length and what kind of semiconductor material is employed to excite the laser beam?

Where I'm from, wearing those glasses would get you picked on more than wearing lab goggles.

you dont need to wear then all the time when using the laser, only with close range stuff, if theyre reflective. <2ft = necessary imo.

There have been a few changes in the laser pointer market recently.

Not only can you buy the 125mW of wickedlasers, you can also buy it at www.dragonlasers.com

The price from dragonlasers is $329 vs $499 from wicked

For details on Dragonlasers you can go to this thread

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/...d.php?t=138555

a good forum for lights, torches, lasers etc.

Wicked is a well known brand with a reputation for service but i'm low on cash so if i hear more good things about dragonlasers, i might break the piggy bank and buy one of their 125mW laser pointers.

Haha after that the neighbours dog (horrible little mutt), marauding cockroaches and girl scouts beware

In the spirit of Christmas, i was extremely generous (no Scrooge here) and bought myself an expensive gift. A 125mW laser pointer from www.dragonlasers.com Kind of hard to justify spending that much money (even the cheapest sellers are expensive ) but i proved upto the task.

Will write something about it later and maybe take some photos when i'm not so busy or lazy.

Forgive me if I'm asking a stupid question, but what is the use of a $500 laser pointer? How is it value for your money? $500 to toast some insects sounds a bit expensive.

The $500 obviously
Sounds a bit much for a gadget like that, unless there is a real use for it obviously.

You wan't videos? Hahaha go to http://www.dragonlasers.com/testimonials. I love the video where the balloon panics and runs away (that one is not mine)

As for $500, relax. I only spent $329 on mine. Set back my PS3 buy so my old PC games will have to last for a while longer.

Not much, but it's something...especially when they're so expensive.

I have some videos of lasers on these sites...

Sheeepy, how much do you make in wicked bucks for every person who buys a 125mW using your code?
