which ssd
i really want to get one now that i have some money saved up, but dont want to spend too much on it. which ssd out there is priced good and performs well? im looking at around 40 gbs (using it for os and some apps, rest go on sata hd). i guess my budget being around 100-150. preferably closer to 100. thanks in advance

for 100-150 you can get a 32gb-64gb ssd with trim support.
i remind you AMD has not worked on trim yet so the darkside (intel) has support for SSD already. some members will also fill you in i juss know the icing. remember its not about gigs rather performance |

i think he meant that AMD's SATA controllers on their chipets dont support TRIM.
I dont know if thats true or not.

Windows 7 default AHCI drivers support TRIM pass-through to the SSD, regardless of the chipset.
