E8500 Oc
New E8500 OC after installing WC. Ran both large and small FFT tests. One in the picture is the large FFT. I've tried for 4GHz, but my board does not like the FSB going much higher than 400 w/ 4GB of memory installed. O-o

Upping the NB Volts would stabilise higher fsb's w/ 4GB ram
![]() Theres plenty of headroom in that chip! EDIT: Oh youve got a good board too, my UD3P did 515mhz fsb on a Q6600, so youve got no excuse

Thanks for the tip. Got my NB set to 1.26 right now. I'll see what happens.
EDIT: I gave the NB a push towards 1.4v with FSB at 445x9 and gave the CPU 1.25v. System still likes to not post and reset bios to default. Last edited by TaHoward; May 20, 2010 at 05:20 PM. |
