got the GPU today, all appears well so far.

havent tested 3D, but it works in 2D and the fans all good... testing the rest now (but gotta go to work soon)

edit: ran clear sky in DX11 no problems

massive power reduction over my 4870's too (140W idle vs 290W idle)

lol woops, i meant to do an edit above but musta hit quote. oh well.

brothers having some minor issues with his card, but oddly only over DVI... not HDMI. doesnt seem like a card problem to me, so alls well as far as i'm concerned.

Positive heatware was given.

UPDATE:

In case anyone is curious, this is the nuts and bolts of what XFX told me and what I mentioned to quasarsky.

1) All cards need to have the warranty activated 30 days after purchase to receive the double lifetime warranty.
2) Seeing that I said I never registered the cards, as it says in my little FS "blurb"...the double lifetime warranty doesn't apply to the cards.

Now y'all know why I don't want to deal with warranty crap!

Whoa, dude! The last pictures you sent me were just filled with wires. I had no idea you were going eyefinity. I'm still yet to run an eyefinity setup. Keep me in the loop on how that goes. Kinda jealous I haven't done that yet.

Nothing yet, But I wouldn't be surprised if it arrived at home while I'm at work today. If its not today, it will probably be tomorrow. Customs are lax here.
