Enermax Intros Apollish Vegas Series Case Fans

Enermax released the Apollish Vegas series case fans. These bright-colored, illuminated fans are similar to the original Apollish series fans the company released last year, except that the Vegas is more efficient and features lighting effects made with its up to 18 LEDs. Available in glossy red, blue, green and silver, these fans are available in 120 mm and 140 mm sizes. The fans make use of Twister-bearing, and the blades are detachable for cleaning. The 120 mm models come in speeds ranging between 800 - 2000 rpm, 56.51 - 143.72 m³/h airflow, and as low as 16 dBA noise output, while the 140 mm ones spin at 700 - 1500 rpm, push 71.99 - 154.27 m³/h of air, with as low as 15 dBA noise level. The 120 mm model costs €21.14, and the 140 mm €25.84.

Not bad, wonder what the silver looks like. I really do like their Apollish fans as I got one for my brother and not only is it silent, but it looks bad ass, and moves a lot of air.

I wonder if they thought more leds = higher price.

I have two of the normal Apollish fans, they come with a temp sensor and adjust the speed acordingly; if you don't normally like leds then this is not for you as they are much brighter than the average led fan.

these fans remind me of somewhat - have too many colours all at once & you could find yourself foaming at the mouth

Detachable blades? Better get steel braided hoses for water cooled systems. You know, just in case.

I got a silver Appolish pushing on my Mega Shadow and it looks simply stunning.
However, the temp sensor is either hopeless or my temps are too low (~30°C to ~45°C), coz my fan stays at ~750rpm and the sensor is pressed up right in there in a groove on the back of the Mega Shadow's contact plate and held by the retention kit...

(just example, not my rig)

Anyway, plan to get this to push and move the other to pull since this has manual fan controller.

Check the Appolish Vegas here:

Here's some pics of my rig with the Appolish silver from when I was fitting it and the Mega Shadow (sorry for double post).
(Pics just don't do it justice though)
