Microsoft sells 1 million copies of 'Gears of War'

Gears of War is officially the fastest selling Xbox360 game. Gears of War was the most pre-ordered game, tallying enough sales to beat Halo 2 pre-orders. Microsoft has gotten 1 million sales of Gears of War since it's release 2 weeks ago, on November seventh. Xbox360 Live subscriptions have also jumped 50% since the release of Gears of War. Microsoft is said to have been counting on Gears of War to take the spotlight away from the debuts of Sony's PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii.

Wouldn't they want to make this game a Xbox 360 exclusive so that more ppl will buy the system? Just a thought...

thats a good point. the pc version probably wont be released for a while though, so it can give the 360 ample time with it. im guessing within a year

Epic have always been good for making OGL games, so we might get a linux/WinXP and earlier version.

There are plans for it too come out on PC have been rumored but not for quite sometime since it was directly designed for the 360. Also its going to be a trilogy which a developer accidentally leaked while in and interview, hopefully the next 2 have a storyline.
