Asus XONAR D2X + Altec Lansing VS4121
Hi,
I'm thinking of buying xonar d2x. I've never used sound card (other than onboard one). What kind of difference would I get from this sound card? I'm using Altec Lansing VS4121 (to be honest, the sound is not that good). One problem though, my UD5 is watercooled (chipset, NB, SB) and I'm pretty sure the waterblocks and fittings will block the PCI-E full length card. Any alternative sound card that I should be looking at? Maybe PCI or USB sound card Thanks in advance |

If you can find one, the Auzentech X-Raider is supposed to be a great card. It's PCI and is only as long as the PCI slot.
