Looking for home security system

I was wondering if any of you fine folk could recommend me a home security (camera) system. The following features would be ideal:

- Wireless
- High quality or fps settings
- Ability to remotely access archived footage (very important)
- Proficient night vision and motion sensing capabilities.

Thanks.

indeed, though your offering is far more cost effective

As for OP, the only experience i have had with surveillance systems is establishing them within a network, not actually building the system myself. I would head over to newegg and see what you can piece together

You guys are silly, but right on. Get a .357 and if you think someone is outside, fire it straight up in the air. They'll probably shit their breeches and you'll see them run. All the surveillance you need .

hmm seems you only filled half the list

- Wireless -check
- High quality or fps settings -check
- Ability to remotely access archived footage (very important) -nope
- Proficient night vision and motion sensing capabilities. -nope

so in addition to the pistol I propose one of these http://evil-guide.tripod.com/henchmen.html

most will have access to a cell phone which is your remote access to archived footage and some of them on there have nightvision capabilities.

A mean dog that you can handle is a better idea than the gun or system...I dunno, the gun is kinda shaky

.AVI's are easily shared on your windows home network. Mussel flash will illuminate the area.

if your a light sleeper and youve got a set of these its game over.

You don't need a p90 for home defense lol...

If you're going to go that route, get a 12ga. shotgun. The shot shouldn't go through your intruder and three walls as well...
