Personally I would save £10 and get rid of the case fans.

Why does this build need wireless?

Wireless is OK for on-the-go and netbooks...not a desktop, regardless of how 'good' the add-in card is or isnt.

I'd much sooner see you using a cat5 cable.

Needs wireless because the router is downstairs and his parents don't allow him drill through wall.
Edit:
This build my cousin wants:

Change the motherboard, the 770 chipset is old and you can get a 785G chipset for the same price.

With a £500 budget you could probably up the CPU to a Athlon II X4 or maybe a low end Phenom II X4.

Switch over to Ebuyer.com, prices are slightly better and they have free 5 day super saver delivery.

Also Ebuyer has a 550W antec and a OCZ 600W PSU for £54.

Your cousins build seems dodgy, the 5850 isnt the best choice in video card, overall its only 10-15% faster than the GTX 460 at maximum, which isnt enough to justify spending twice as much but if he has the money the 5850 is a good consideration.

He already gets free delivery with Scan, did you not look at the pic?
Which would be faster than waiting on ebuyer's 5 day delivery which be rather random (even though it's the same courier).

My cousin is coming down to stay for couple days and he wouldn't be able to wait 5 days for the parts from ebuyer unfortunetly, and i get next day delivery from scan so thats a plus.
Also the corsair PSU is a much better choice.
Heres more updated since he said he might spend more money.

That must be a new thing, scan never used to do free delivery.

Either way what I said still stands, Ebuyer is usually cheaper, GTX 460 is a better buy than the 5850 price/performance and you could get a Phenom II X4 or atleast a Athlon II X4 and still be under £500.

kurosagi01, taking into consideration that your Cousin has new funds. I have matched the price of the updated build with next day delivery on Ebuyer.

Spec wise everything is almost the same except now you've got a much faster processor, the Phenom II X4 945

Total price:

£621 with next day delivery.

or £544.75 with next day delivery with the GTX 460 with Phenom II X4 945

Like I said earlier, the performance gap between the GTX 460 and 5850 isnt that wide apart, so you'll have to decide is the extra £74 worth it?

The 1st build you have posted looks good except i'd try and get the 1GB GTX460.
The 2nd build on the other hand looks great!

Thats a sweet build!

Though it would have been awesome if it had a 955BE or 965BE.
I think it's worth spending that extra money to get atleast a 955BE.

It's been around for years: avforums/hexus get 20 posts and you get free del on orders over £20.
Recently added, 20 posts on bit tech and you get free del on scan, aquatuning (never used them) and CCL with the same £20 minimum.

Other shops have similar offers to forum users, aria's is the worst (50 posts a month to keep it going) unless you like their forum imo.
