Hi ubersmurf,
Memory •Dual-Channel DDR2 -1066/800/667
I used
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK Dual Channel Kit
set for 5-5-5-15 2t
For a complete List of memory for this board goto M3A78-T and click on the Device/Memory Tab
With a BIOS upgrade this board will •Support latest AMD Phenom ™ Quad-Core Processors
I ran a Phenom 9950 BE, and a Phenom II 965 BE without any problems...but then I don't OC my stuff.

I ran that chip on this board to test and it worked fine because it was 64 bit technology, but immediately upgraded to the 9950 BE
As you well know AMD has a known issue with it's CPU memory controllers I never ran this at 1066.
