its possible, but god knows how to find them.

Ebay often has cheap batteries, but odds are the quality wont be as good as the official ones.

IMO avoid second hand ones and only get new batteries, you never know how bad they will be til they arrive.

I just bought a laptop battery that Dell wanted $135, for $40 including shipping from batteryedge.com

Don't forget to hunt for coupon codes. It saved me an extra $6

Yeah, but your Dad will be impressed if you get him a battery for 10% of the Dell cost by spending about 1 minute checking for coupon codes. Shows fiscal responsibility.

I have a used battery, idk about the condition since it hasnt been charged for 2 1/2 months... for E15XX don't remember model, I'd want 9$ + ship, could sell you my broken (screen broke) laptop (exluding DVDRW and HDD) for 19$ + ship, in CAD ofc

My experience is that buying batteries and or chargers from these types of sites are hit or miss, some give you crap, others give you almost the real thing

I usually go with BatteriesPlus, they usually have good quality batteries, and if they don't have it in the store they can order it.
