I don't understand why board partners didn't realease all of the awesome GTX480's much closer to launch, say june/july. maybe theyre trying to pack in sales and steal thunder from the new AMD series launch.

The frozr looks like a new design, may have taken MSI a while longer than expected to get it to perform as they desired with the thermal envelope of fermi. Or they could be just releasing products sequentially to keep sales strong.

It really is mind boggling.. they prioritize aftermarket cooling on lower ends and cooler cards, but launch those that need it most (GTX480) too late. Now say that they launch this together or at least a week later on gtx480 debut, they would definitely sell a plenty.
