Selling my other 5850... but I would be left with no GPU!! what to do? xD

So someone offered me 250$ CAD + shipping for my XFX 5850 (Reference) which is roughly 235+$ US

So I'd love to sell it at a good price like that but... I'll be left with no GPU, and X58 does not have IGPs lol I would then have to buy a cheap pci-E card right? but then that card would be worthless later so thats 25$ out the window...

Anyways, I heard the 6000 series is coming out the 22nd, so should I sell my card and buy the 6850/70 at launch? will the 6000 series be priced higher than the MSRP like the 5000 series after the launch?

I see no reason to sell a perfectly good 5850, it will still be worth good cash when the 6000 series has avialiability.

I was just wondering if I heard right and the 6000series is coming out next week and if I should buy at launch or wait (possible price drop? idk... usually is a bad idea to buy at launch) but as the 5850 came out at 250~260$ and then prices climbed, I was wondering if you guys think it will do the same for the 6000 series

I'd sell now in the event the value crashes. Then I'd pick up a 6870 for hopefully less, worst case the same price but with better performance.

Hard to tell .Look to performance vs. gtx460 if better performance and same or lower price at launch = No price drop , if performance is same with gtx460 than price may drop after launch
6000 series relative performance/price vs. gtx460 will be key factor basicly,my opinion of course (about MSRP price ,not the first day inflated prices) ,

Good call... I'm guessing the 6870 to be SLGHTLY slower than a 5870, but faster than a 5850, while the 6850 will be faster than the GTX 460 1GB, but slower than the 5850, or around that performance...
