New Black Ops gameplay video.

I think this is footage from the leaked version thats being spoken of on the net.

I've downloaded the videos from Youtube because I think that they will get deleted very soon.

Anyway, the game looks 90% like MW2, except for a little bit of graphics improvement (barely noticeable)

Personally, I'm not going to fall for the same scam again, I'll wait for them to innovate and make something new or at least update the graphics.

By the way, didn't they say that you were going to remove "Quick Scope" but in the leaked video it was possible to do it, actually, it looked easier than MW2.

Wow, the same GUI since MW. And this definitely looks like the console version. No PC version information as of yet. And the game play looks exactly the same as MW2. I thought they would add some of their own uniqueness to BO.

Well yeah, it clearly shows the blue X button onscreen, which means its the 360 version

I commented on that before I saw it . But BO is a definite MW2 clone. Sad though, they had an opportunity to update the GUI and they didn't.

The only good thing I noticed in the video is that you can manually control the Helicopter Mini-Gun.

I wouldn't necessarily call that a good thing on a 18 player map. I see nothing that makes BO stand out from MW2.

oh god...the perks from mw2 were obnoxious as is…treyarch didn’t change shit in BO! not playing it. don’t need to relive all the marathon running knifers again and again…or do it all over again.

my guess is they are releasing it for everyone who didn't buy MW2 because of all the crap. i didn't buy it, never played it - but im thinking about BO.

if it really is pretty much the same, than it makes sense they would add the features people want , and release it to make more cash - but at the same time not want it to be an expansion (charge full price) and not want it to be MW3.

That’s the thing digi…that’s all it looks like from the mplayer aspect of it. it’s just a rehash of MW2…so it might as well be MW3

oh i'm sure - or even moreso MW2.5

but my point is they know that, and are doing it on purpose. they don't want to release another MW atm, so they simply call it something else and lose most of the risk. it won't reflect on MW's name for 99% of people no matter how good or bad it does - and my guess is they don't expect it to do that good otherwise they would have just called it MW2.5/3 whatever. they just want to mop up what's left of the market after MW2 , and they will probably do that pretty well.

From their standpoint why start from scratch when you can just refine what's already there, and that's what they've done. Removed/changed some kills streaks, removed broken perks, added a recorder, incorporated a nice amount of customization, included some competitive/fun game modes.

Seems the same to me. Except new maps and the ability to charge me for the old ones... again.

It doesn't look like they made an attempt to re-skin the game. Just add new maps, different set of weapons, etc using what looks like similar poly counts, textures, etc. I look forward to some sort of comparison though.

Sounds seem the same exactly as mw2 also. I'll still probably buy it to play on my ps3 though BC2 is boring and dry.

Here's hoping for some nice looking PC graphics. Personally, if they keep the game supported, and do balance patches to shit that ruins games once people abuse it (OMA + Danger Close) then this will be a great game. Looking forward to it, and hoping to get into some competitive play again.

Black Ops should just be a DLC , I mean what's the main difference from MW2 and Black Ops? New storyline? I would buy this game for $30, not $60. It doesn't look that impressive (AS of yet --that is)
