Sick of Explorer crashing over and over and over again in 7

And so....I will now just run everything with task manager....

Cards are not OCed....F@h and WCG stable...I just don't understand...No viruses...

I swear it's crashing every 5 mins or less it's driving me nuts with it's recovering BS only to do it again soon after.

Ideas? IDK taskmanager is working just fine.

Get a mac. Problem solved.

Assuming you did the usual? One hdd, one stick of ram, on everything etc. Run memtest bla bla bla

Get Linux, cheaper than a Mac, keep your old hardware, things are a billion times more stable, etc., etc. ,etc.

It's bad ram, bad ram timings, or a virus.
Run prime 95 for a few hours and see what happens.
Also, of course, please update all your hardware drivers (including your chipset driver if you're on an intel chipset) and make sure your windows updates are ALL up to date.

My buddy's computer used to do similar things logs where filled with all kinds of stuff failing to start services stopping etc, turned out to be the mobo.

I ran windows repair, and it took about 4 hours to do it's thing. My problem is gone, and I can't be any happier about it!

a week late, but some info:

explorer crashes like this are often caused by corrupt thumbnails thanks to bad codec packs in the system.
