AMD Catalyst 10.11

i got a windows update on my windows vista, when i downloaded it and installed it my drives info points out that it's AMD Catalyst 10.11, i even confirmed with GPU-Z 0.4.8, the drivers are not on amd's website the ones on the site are 10.10.

The AMD Catalyst 10.11 drivers have fixed the pink defect that the earlier drivers and hot fix had not fixed.
I have AMD Radeon 5770 1GB by sapphire

Tick the little camera icon in the upper right of GPU-Z, then click "Upload to free image hosting", then tick "copy" for the VBB code and paste it in your post.

I got it too for my 890GX HD4290. Have not been able to get it for my 5870s though. Different systems fwiw.

Weird. The only update I see is for MSE and a bunch of language packs.

From my understanding you install this when you have no cat installed (this is just the driver not the full cat). If you don't see it, then try to uninstall your current cat driver, reboot and do an update again.

Hopefully this 10.11 driver set will replace the previous version that gets offered when you don't have any drivers installed after installing Windows.

From what I've read, this 10.11 via Windows Update is just a driver, it doesn't contain the CCC software component. We'll have to wait for the official release to get that...

(On the other hand you could install the driver over 10.10e and keep the MLAA option in CCC. No idea if it works though...)

Exactly, i installed the driver over 10.10e and i still have the MLAA, it works and also the pink defect is gone which is nice.

So to all who ask if MLAA is there install 10.11 windows update over the hot fix version 10.10e which come with MLAA, and enjoy the best of Both worlds.
