I like the color scheme and layout overall, but I do feel the little details could be spiffed up. Like how in GN there's a gradient in the top bars. Something like that would be nice, maybe even more subtle like the new photoshop icon. The banner change I'm all for. The current image isn't very crisp.

i'll give ya that, the new one needs a facelift, if not a change.

simply redoing it with clearer, less fuzzy graphics should be sufficient.

It wouldn't hurt if people came up with some banners currently. Perhaps the banners posted previously didn't suit his taste. It is his website afterall, so it is his decision.

This is little tricky cause it should really be coordinated, the forum changes and banner change. Slightly different shades of the current colors might make for a good banner, but then it won't match the forum quite right.

While I am a firm believer AGAINST the if it ain't broke don't fix it, in this case, I do not want major changes to the forum.... top banner sure... choices of more color schemes or small changes? sure... but not much more

I prefer TPU's format and colors over GNs

personally, Im a fan of 'dark' forums, it would be great if there was a few themes that users could swtich around to suit their own tastes. as for everything else, its debatable but nothing really needs major changing.

Sorry dude - this is the worst idea I have heard all month.

I'm personally perfectly happy with the forum as it stands - and honestly if the entire page was the same color scheme as the logo it would :

A.) Look Like SHIT

B.) Totally wreck the contrast that allows the logo to stand out in the first place.

Red, Black, Grey color scheme is just an AWFUL idea.

Sorry guy, nothing personal - I just love the TPU forum just as it is.

This places i go two sometimes has a good web-site lay out just in red and black its very easy on, The eyes but i find after been on there 2 hours or so and go back two google or any where with. A white back ground it kills my eyes BIG time.

Admittedly that is a very nice, clean, easy to read, fast loading forum. But to make that color scheme work you'd pretty much have to rip their entire theme which is just a dick move.

A white back ground it kills my eyes BIG time. __________________
