I like the color scheme and layout overall, but I do feel the little details could be spiffed up. Like how in GN there's a gradient in the top bars. Something like that would be nice, maybe even more subtle like the new photoshop icon. The banner change I'm all for. The current image isn't very crisp.

Like I said, GN looks great yet similar enough to this so that it's not a huge change.

simply redoing it with clearer, less fuzzy graphics should be sufficient.

This is little tricky cause it should really be coordinated, the forum changes and banner change. Slightly different shades of the current colors might make for a good banner, but then it won't match the forum quite right.

I like it the way it is now , i wouldn't change anything... yet some one may come out with something "better" or more to my liking , never know?
It worth a shot i guess? |

While I am a firm believer AGAINST the if it ain't broke don't fix it, in this case, I do not want major changes to the forum.... top banner sure... choices of more color schemes or small changes? sure... but not much more
I prefer TPU's format and colors over GNs

If it looks anything like HardForum I will personally find you and not buy you a beer.
Worst color scheme I have ever seen, I'm dizzy every time I look @ it.

personally, Im a fan of 'dark' forums, it would be great if there was a few themes that users could swtich around to suit their own tastes. as for everything else, its debatable but nothing really needs major changing.

God, you guys sound like my wife. Change for the sake of change is fail. This is one of the fastest loading, most stable sites I go to. WTF is the point of jacking with it?

I'm personally perfectly happy with the forum as it stands - and honestly if the entire page was the same color scheme as the logo it would : A.) Look Like SHIT B.) Totally wreck the contrast that allows the logo to stand out in the first place. Red, Black, Grey color scheme is just an AWFUL idea. Sorry guy, nothing personal - I just love the TPU forum just as it is.

Let vBulletin come up with a worthy successor to vB 3. vBulletin 4.x is a joke. It's coded by apes, designed by parrots that just learned to paint.

i have no problems making small changes step by step if someone thinks them through and the community likes them.
i'm not gonna make a change just for it to look different. it has to be better. |
