RejZoR, what is so special about this card is that it is PCI-e x1. There are AMD/ATI cards already for years, that are passively cooled. For example the one that I placed in my father's pc (Club3D Radeon 4350) when I built it this summer:

They need to continue making GDDR3, i think ddr3 is way worse or make GDDR4 and gddr5. They could of made a HD Silent 5450 with GDDR5 2GB memory , i would buy it. lolz

Someone please correct me if i'm wrong but, since this card is targeted @ eyefinity users, wouldn't GDDR5 help with that?

But i very much doubt this card is for any kind of gaming so I'm sure GDDR2 or possibly even GDDR would even be enough as i just see this as a card to run 3 monitors and I'm pretty sure you don't need GDDR5 or even GDDR3 to use windows across three monitors.

It would probably be of most use in an office where having multiple screens would be great for increasing productivity but even things like HD video would not be used thus no use for more than an x1 slot or any kind of fast core or memory.

Ye ^ this.

When I first saw this review, I never thought "omg serious gaming time!". Like I said in my earlier post, this would be perfect for the work place.

I'm sure anyone who actually intends on gaming on eyefinity would definitely be getting a much beefier card.

wow I'm more tired than i thought i somehow missed that line... wtf??? it would shock me to find out that you could game across 3 640x480 monitors with a 5450

i really thought this was targeted at HD video and triple monitor windows setups, this is perfect example of marketing in its true form utter bull***t to mislead people who don't know about this stuff into buying a massively under powered card compared to what it's sold as

Or is it referring to playing farmville in eyefinity? is that what gaming is these days?

That's cos BTA has posted a press release, a press release that includes a standard eyefinity blurb

I'm certain these are not aimed at gamers at all, x400 never are designed for gaming, they're HD video cards and things like that normally.

True i just get really annoyed by all the marketing terms and bull crap in press releases i have a 3450 in my htpc and anything other than hd video is like kicking it in the nuts.

Wait a min, is DDR3 and GDDR3 the same?
Also FishHead69 if GDDR3 and DDR3 are the same, well i didn't mean that GDDR3 is bad, i have 2 Nvidia GDDR3 cards( GTS 250 AND 9800GT ) , both cards runs games with ease. However i was saying that they need to stop making them now in 2010. I would rather see GDDR4 and GDDR5 on pretty much any card right about now, than GDDR3/DDR3.

They better be glad i don't make video cards, because i would make a 5670 with 4GB of GDDR5 memory MUHAHHAHAHA

GDDR and DDR are two different standards, I'm too drunk to go into any detail though but this is why GDDR4 was almost skipped when it came to gpu's but DDR4 will be dam fast and nowhere near skip able when it comes to motherboard/cpu;'s
