Gainward GTX 570 Phantom Graphics Card Pictured
Gainward is readying a new GeForce GTX 570 non-reference design that features an innovative new cooling solution, which earns the card its name - the Gainward GTX 570 Phantom. The cooler makes use of a black aluminum fin array, to which heat is fed by six heat pipes. Instead of fans on its obverse side blowing air onto the PCB, there are three fans on its reverse side, drawing air from the aluminum fin array, and onto the PCB. The PCB also seems to be a non-reference design.
The Gainward GTX 570 Phantom uses overclocked speeds of 750 MHz core, 1500 MHz CUDA cores, and 3900 MHz (GDDR5 effective) memory. Like every other GTX 570, it's based on the new 40 nm GF110 silicon, features 480 CUDA cores, and connects to 1280 MB of memory over a 320-bit GDDR5 memory interface. Display connectivity is similar to some AMD Radeon graphics cards: two DVI, one HDMI and one DisplayPort. Pricing and availability is not known. ![]() Source: OCAU |

well its good they put their "dont remove this sticker" in the unisink instead of the GPU.. Their other cards (both Palit and Gainward) had that sticker in the gpu sink, leaving you without the option to change the gpu tim or have a 3rd party cooler installed.

That is one sweet looking 570 and i would hope it runs pretty cool.
If i were to own it i must admit even though it looks to be triple slot already i would want to add some fans for a push/pull setup

WTF, they stick three fans on it, a large chunk of metal, 8 pin and 6 pin power connectors, then they go and stick a lame 2.5% 750 core overclock on it.

I'm sorry but real enthusiasts will get a 570 and whack some water cooling on it, to give this card more appeal it should come with 800+ core clock, I'm assuming it comes with a large price tag, potential buyers will look at that crap overclock and think how lame it is for the price.

Also I'm an enthusiast and don't run watercooling ( anymore) due to constantly changing by parts ( due to being an enthusiast) |

Is there any benefit to this design? It doesn't manage to reduce the height, and I don't believe pull alone is more effective than push.

So it looks like you can do NV surround off this card with out the need of SLI, if so this is an awesome buy.

connectivity permits 3 connections but the display logic should still be the same as other Nv cards, meaning you'll need two for NV surround still.
