Nevermind. It worked. It said payment authorisation error, but when I checked my email, I had an invoice for it. Downloading using the manager as we speak.

It took quite a while. I tried numerous times while waiting for it. I probably messed around with it all for an hour total, trying different proxies and addresses and stuff.

Tips and tricks (for USA and non-UK people):

Some fake info:
City - Bradford
Country - UK
Zip - BD7 1DP
Address - Use google
Phone - XXXXX XXXXXX (no dashes just a space; X's are numbers obviously....)

You will need to use a proxy as has been stated numerous times. I used one off hidemyass.com.

The EA download manager is a lot like Steam and weighs in at about 18MB. I installed it in a VM and it contains some odd things like pyQt.

Once you install the DLM you'll have to login with your (fake) email and password. Then you can start downloading your "purchased" games. Once it's finished downloading it will automatically unpack. You will then be given the option to install the game. If you don't want to install it but instead you want to copy the installation files then navigate to the following directory (Windows 7 only):

%programdata%\Electronic Arts\EADM\DownloadCache\{ streetfighter_2@mailinator2.com }\

replace my fake email, streetfighter_2@mailinator2.com, with the (fake) email you used to create the account. Then copy the directory bpparty_dd (~2.92GB) and you'll have a backup of the installation media!! (Use Setup.exe and the CD key that you got when you "purchased" the game to install it without EA DLM. During the install using Setup.exe you will be prompted to install the EA DLM, just click "Finish" instead.)

Anyone who wants the exact proxy I used can PM me. I don't think I should post it here.

Mine was instantaneous. Took me right to the EA page where I realized I had to download the EA DLM before I could download the game.
