Well let's start off with something new.

I managed to download teamviewer on my i7 rig and teamviewer for android on my droid x. No ports need to be forwarded and it's easy and works wonders. Check it out if you haven't yet

Now i can monitor the rig while im gone making some money for some 470's!

Hey man, i paid for this thing with my own money back when i had a job this summer for about 3 weeks until my mom made me quit I paid $300 for this beauty when it first came out!

I just pulled out my pay stubs thinking i'd get some income taxes back, and they took about $41 out in federal taxes haha. I made like $800 bucks in 3 weeks though at 16 it was nice! I wish i still had that job Imagine all the hardware i could have now!

@Josh: Setup teamviewer to start up on its own in case of a system restart, so you don't lose monitoring access.

You know what, you just gave me a brilliant idea. I will build a sandy bridge folding rig with my tax returns, if i am not too stretched out paying for college tuition.

I can hardly wait...

SandyBridge folding results are just about coming out, but they seem to perform fairly well as SMP and bigadv units. They also supposedly OC well. A reviewer turned off HT and got the 2600K to do 4.9 on air. I doubt it was stable for anymore than a CPu-Z screenshot, but still impressive.

Is that a free app? I hate paying for app's anymore. The last 2 app's i paid for just somehow managed to disappear from the market place.

I was intending to do a full overhaul of my main rig with tax returns. New mobo + x6 + WC loop, but with Bulldozer around the corner, it won't be wise. I'll just get a custom WC loop, and a new GPU (possibly for folding)

Why not just build another i7 rig for -bigadv and keep your 965 for the gaming rig?

Haha true true. I really need to get another rig for gaming only and let the i7 fold, or a decent laptop that will game. That sounds like the better idea but it costs more. Maybe if i could work ahead and get graduated in school early my mom would buy me a nice laptop for a graduation present She spent 900 bucks on my sisters laptop for her graduation and shit, if i could get her to spend that much on one for me i'd have the perfect laptop for college and gaming while the main rig folds away

Gaming laptop for 900. Err no!?

Plus you would wanna get a monitor.

I have not had to use a laptop ever in college. Especially since you have an android, you really shouldn't need one. a computer is always within a few hundred feet at most schools.

Ehh true.. most likely my parents wouldn't give me 900 cash to build a desktop. Also my droid x is so frickin slow on TPU, i hate using it. It lag's horribly when typing a reply. Does anyone else have this issue?

you need advanced task killer and shit to kill processes that slow your phone down.

look up ways to improve battery life for the droid, the same solutions apply to performance increase. which droid do you use?

I run a droid x. Honestly i have heard bad things about the advanced task killer so i don't run it anymore, and i think my battery life has improved.
