Intel Core i5-2500K review
Anyone read this review?
http://www.techradar.com/reviews/pc-...view?artc_pg=1 [QUOTE]They're so good, in fact, they make nearly all of Intel's supposedly high-end chips for the LGA1366 socket instantly redundant. Bloomfield-based quad-core Core i7 processors are toast. Even six-core Gulftown Core i7s look marginal. New socket though, 1155 and the fixed 100mhz system bus. Astonishing performance, looks like the new must have chips.

Ya, most of us have seen Sandy Bridges performance numbers, definitely an impressive line of chips performance wise.
![]() Only problem im having with them is the limitation with overclocking in terms of not having a lot of diversity, they designed it to a point where certain chips are better performing and only almost full featured only when using them on a certain chipset.

they are impressive chips, and if intel had half a brain they woulda done it right. but marketing wise it sort of makes sense
