I was saying cdawall was saying it was garbage, and thought he meant the whole Lancool series including the K62, but it only means these, which I kinda agree they don't look very good.

Cool at the end we all agree xD

It seems cases that look like Transformers are whats "hot" somewhere. I think at this point even you cd may just be too old to appreciate the styling.

Continuing with the theme, I hope there is "more than meet the eye" here

I'm 18, and I don't like this case... am I too old?

This case will be passable if it at least has all the features of the K62 inside, hopefully with some improvements too

Again, while the inside design might be Lian-li, the case overall is not the quality I would expect from a $100 case. For $100 I expect there to be no plastic on the outside, and for the large majority of the outside to be plastic like the K62, I expect the price to be sub-$50.

Why are case manufacturers going backwards...

First it was Cooler master who had some great classy cases like the 840/Cosmos and have now been working only on the HAF stuff...

Then it was Antec, which had clean designs like the 300/900/1200 and now the have that stupid DF series r whatever

Then came silverstone....well the less said the better about the fortress 3 and the TJ11...

And finally Lancool....well the K62 was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy better looking than these models...

everyone seems to be making cases for the ricer kids these days.....God help us all.

Design looks retro-ish imo. Corsair is the only case manufacturer out there that has taste in their design

You should really try the K62... hell, the insides on better than most other Lian-li I've worked with. Plastic doesn't bother me that much as it still looks good. Also makes it pretty light compared to steel

There's only so much you can do in an ATX case but the manager demands you to churn out new fashionable design and magical features every year.

Nah, I'm going to be spend that kind of money on a case, I'm spending $10 more and getting the PC-7FN. Internally they are the same exact design, minus the quick release on the PCI slots(whcih I hate anyway), and the PC-7FN isn't painted black. Externally the 7FN wins hands down. No fugly plastic, all aluminum design so it is lighter than the K62, it is basically what the K62 is before sticking all that plastic on it, they should have just left it alone converted the inside to steel and dropped the price $30. Now that would be a case I would actually buy.

I love the PC-7FN, but it lacks 2x 140mm fan up top, black interior, and window.

The Exact equivalent to the K62 in alu is the PC-P50WB

I personally would have NOT bought the K62 if I had known about the extra bucks I would get soon after my purchase, as I would have invested in a PC-P50WB or perhaps a PC-B25FWB. I could also have chosen PC-7FWX or PC-60FNWX with the extra top 2x 140mm Blue LED fans, but then that would have cost something like 230$. The PC-B25FWB and the PC-P50WB are at 210$ and 225$ respectively.

Actually, I'm pretty sure I would have gone PC-P50WB with an extra 140mm Blue LED in the 5.25" around on top of the other one
