i have £200 to spend on a gpu thats better then a GTX460..anyone got anything? hoping for a Nvidia mainly please

I'd get another 460 or just wait for a bit if I were you for 570s/580s to be cheaper or grab a 6970 etc .

my board doesnt support SLI or i would get another 460. 580's to dear as is the 6970. im tempted by the 480 but the temps and noise...:/ may just get a 560 and oc it..

The 560 by ASUS here performs juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust under the 480 according to this.

Your XFX 750W seems to have the same spec as my HX750 and the 480 has worked fine with a more demanding X58 i7 on same PSU. I can't seem to access jonnyguru atm to double check though.

Mini oven is quite right. The default fan settings let it run up to 91C under load. If you apply 75% fan it will normally stay under 85C (bare in mind my ambient temps are high with 4 other computers).

Doesn't sell it very nicely but I'd rather you know what it's like before you make a decision. Once you play games or do folding@home it is very smooth though. Far better than 4870X2 I had before it.

It has a rush of air sound rather than a mechanical one. It is the loudest part of my Silverstone FT02 computer.
