Crossfiring

Hey guys, Ill be getting my new system any day now (2 x PowerColor 6870) and I'm just wondering about the crossfire connecters, the 6870 has two crossfire connectors on each card, do I put two connectors between the two cards or just the one?

First time doing a crossfire.

Really? I assumed they'd have 2 since they are a mid-high range card.

6850/6870 only have 1 Crossfire Bridge. They are more mid range then mid-high. AMD 6950 is more of a mid-high range card that requires two Crossfire Bridges.

450 AUD for me, but yes, Ive seen reviews and the scaling is awesome (IMO). Hopefully it will beat my 5970 that a I have atm, because I do have better parts (RAM, mobo etc) in my new build.

Yeah dude that's the key--great scaling. You will love them. Even my 6850's pump out major performance for the price in most games.

Far out into my 6th day of waiting (including the weekend), should've paid for a quicker delivery

Yea, I have been holding on to this DDR2 rig for WAY TOO LONG!!! Just waiting for Bulldozer to drop, then it is upgrade time. I just couldn't justify the cost of AM3 for the minimal performance upgrade.

Good luck on your VGAs!!!
