NZXT H2 Classic Silent Chassis Establishes New Era of Whisper-Quiet PC Gaming

NZXT, a company built on realizing the dreams of gamers worldwide, is proud to announce the H2, a silent midtower chassis that drastically reduces the chaotic noise produced by powerful gaming PCs. In designing H2, NZXT’s challenge was to engineer a decibel reduction solution while allowing components to remain cool through effective airflow. To achieve these feats, the H2 implements a layer of premium noise dampening foam that keeps internal noise from escaping the chassis. A magnetic fan cover on the top 140mm fan adds another element of silence, but can be removed if the user prefers to maximize cooling.

Efficient airflow is further achieved with a unique 3 phase fan controller that allows enthusiasts to adjust speeds at 40%, 70%, and 100%. The removable touch powered fan compartments are wireless so there’s no need to open the side panel to rummage through neatly managed cables behind the motherboard to remove the fan. 8 Front facing HDDs give H2 a thermal edge over other silent solutions on the market by enhancing natural airflow in the front of the case.

Additional innovative features of the H2 include a hot swap capable SATA HDD Dock with easy access from the top of the case. As with every member of NZXT’s robust chassis lineup, H2 places a premium on cable management with 25mm of space behind the motherboard allowing for a clean build.

“Noise is a distracting byproduct of a powerful gaming rig that can confuse and endanger the avid gamer in the heat of battle” said Johnny Hou, Founder and Chief Designer at NZXT. “H2 delivers peace of mind through absolute silence effectively enhancing concentration and accuracy to set the stage for complete gaming domination.”

H2 will be available in Black and White for the MSRP of $99.99.

This is the only plain/window-less case I would ever consider owning. I like it.

yeah i used to be in that same boat.

I consolidated all my drives and upgraded to 2tb drives. (uses now much less power and now all fits into one case)

I used to have a 16 bay san unit filled with 250bg drives connected to a system that had 8 750gb drives.

I ended up selling it all off and bought a bunch of 2tb drives..

It looks a little like the fractal r3, hopefully it is of better build quality.

ttl has been great with all his reviews in the past and he pretty much says the quality is crap. from what iv seen i agree. so looks like we will need to wait for that coolermaster case to even have abit of competition in this category. still the r3 wins for quality and cooling.

Perhaps a black version of the NZXT HALE 90 would look better. Sucks you loose an HDD bay because of long graphics cards and a cramped case.

I have 2 tb's
I would still need more! I am using a knock of cm 690 right now, all the bays and the odd bays too. I'm out of room.

This looks better than all other NZXT cases, but it's also not very expensive. You get what you pay for.
