Cooler Master Announces HAF 932 Advanced Case
The award winning HAF Series of cases brought about the aesthetics of battle-hardened military vehicles. Its cases each offered the user an unprecedented amount of access to customizing their airflow and rearranging their internal system layout. Together, these features were realized for the first time within the HAF 932 and now they will begin again in the new HAF 932 Advanced.
The HAF 932 Advanced comes equipped with the very features that made the original HAF 932 world renowned. It notably included native liquid cooling support such as the ability to install a double or triple 120 millimeter radiator, a convenient coolant refill port, and liquid cooling grommets to easily route tubing to an externally mounted radiator. Push button locks on the 5.25 inch bays, expansion card mounting via thumbscrews or a push lock, and quick hard drive mounting via removable drive trays all contributed to an elegantly simple system build. Frustrating cable routing and CPU heatsink installation need not apply here. Striking flared side panels and a huge CPU retention hole in the motherboard tray have removed the headache from those daunting tasks by allowing CPU heatsink installation without removing the motherboard and cables to routed at the whim of the user with little space restrictions. By infusing these features into the updated design and, in many places improving upon them, the HAF 932 Advanced comes into its own. The HAF 932 Advanced is reborn with a high-grade all black interior coating. It is the first case to natively support Super Speed USB 3.0 via a standardized internal motherboard connector. USB 3.0 cables need not be routed through the case to the back panel, and conveniently attaches directly to compatible motherboards. The HAF 932 Advanced is ready for a new generation motherboards supporting native USB 3.0 connections. On the inside, HAF 932 Advanced adds a newly designed graphics cards ducting. When combined with an optional 120mm fan, the duct effectively cools SLI configurations. A 2.5” SSD tray adds support for the increasing popularity of solid state drives. ![]() Cooler Master’s HAF 932 Advanced improves upon a timeless classic while maintaining the same core values. The all new HAF 932 Advanced is the first of many Cooler Master chassis to be updated to the new USB 3.0 technology. The HAF 932 Advanced will be available in North and South America in April 2011.

I am not sure how they can call it the 932 HAF Advanced when the only difference I see from the original is the black interior and USB3 support.

Why the massive holes in the screen above the side fan? I could see my 4-year-old poking crayons through the holes when no one was looking. Smaller holes would work just as well and do a better job of keeping foreign objects out of the case.

I've never liked the side panel for the HAF 932.
So how do you solve that? Buy the HAF 942! ![]() If they remodel the 942 though, I'll be mad, since I just got mine less than a month ago... I know about the side panel replacement on Cooler Master's site, but that's dumb.. xD

That huge cpu cut out only works if they take into account that AMD boards dont always place their sockets in the same general location on the motherboard like Intel does. I am staring at my old HAF 932 and I love it. But I have since replaced it with the Phantom White and while it is a bit better for routing, that cutout for cpu installation is still off and its a decent size.

So instead of fixing my 2 major gripes about the original 932 (namely: no dust filters and no SATA backplanes to allow you to swap hard drives without having to remove the left panel), CM paints the interior black and adds in USB 3. WHOOP DE FREAKING DO. If you really want those features today, you can buy a HAF X. Which begs the question, what is the purpose of this "Advanced" case except to clear excess stock of the 932?
It ain't mesh, it's plexiglass with a weird X pattern etched into it.

I don't find the lack of filters to be an issue. I remove any that come in my cases anyway, as all they really do is impede flow. I'm no too lazy to open up a case every once in a while to dust it out.
That said, I don't like this case just because I think they are ugly as hell. They just look cheap and plasticy with all those faux reinforcement ribs and stuff.

Now I am still confused what the difference is. I got a 932 in a trade a while back and am regifting it to my bro as I think its ugly as sin but what's the difference? Usb3 and some paint? Couldn't they just fix the dumb window thing instead...

Neat case! I like the USB 3.0 internal connector. No other cases have that now, they all use the crappy USB 3.0 pass through.
