Dual screen clocks
Just set up a dual screen for work purposes, noticed that when running two screens extended, GPU (HD6850 sapphire toxic) is clocking from 100/150 to 300/1150.
Is this the norm? i.e just caused by the required output for 2 screens. Thanks guys. |

Yes, you could use a few tools to do so, but you'll find flickering/artifacting at lower clocks, hence why they go up when multiple monitors are attached. I was pretty pissed at this situation before, as I was hoping for big power savings, but was sorely disappointed.
I'd rather not have the graphical issues, so I've accepted it as the norm now.
