Wow i can't believe the Intel does so good, i was thinking it wouldn't do to its slower write speeds. Goes to show that they put quality parts in their SSD.

Almost no one is going to buy the 250GB version as its almost $600. And since the 120GB one is slower, this really isn't a good indication of the 510 family.

it looks like sandforce introduced a change in their new sata 6 gbps drives that makes them a tiny bit slower in bootup compared to the old drives. |

i guess its ok as long as just the driver not the hardware itself and for ssd little bit slower wont noticeable

sorry i did not make myself clear, i know you use the same hardware for all SSD tests but i was saying that the motherboard chipset might be affecting the Agility 3 more than the Agility 2 because other tests i have seen show the Agility 3 beating Agility 2 in boot up tests

Wizzard... in your opinion
I have read both reviews on the Intel 510 and the ADATA s511, (great job btw)
I am looking to buy a 120gb drive of course I want it to be realiable but I also want preformance... the Price is the price, which one would you suggest out of those 2? I would concider ocz vertex 3 but too many horror stories ![]() also which controller do you like better? sandforce or marvell thanks for your thoughts zero |

I like SSD reviews where there is more into the real world tests than stupid synthetics that don't mean a thing to me. So i hope TPU will continue to stick with the practical usage more than with theoretical capabilities of the drives...
