Forgot this is in USD.

So I would spend around the $250-$300 mark.

It's done me well in the past for longevity of the performance of the card vs $

sub $200 always seems to be the best price-performance point so $200 is the maximum i would ever spend

I'll spend whatever it takes to get the GC I feel I need.
Since I'm still running my old 4870x2, I guess I've not felt the need yet.

I play games at 1280x1024, so it's not much use getting anything above $100. 50-$100 it is.

Ain't nothing wrong with that card, as long as you have the juice... and 750 hamsters is nice!
And, fresh air, oh yes, can't forget the fresh air...

On topic> 300 per GPU is tops for me... So, if it were a two GPU card 600 (300 per GPU).

And, I have no qualms about waiting for a deal.

$150-$200 USD. Spent that kinda cash on GeForce 4 Ti 4400, Radeon x800GTO; got a steal then on my Radeon HD4830. Only paid $124 USD for that thing back in January of '09 and still running strong.

I notice some gaps in the options. I normally try to place my budget at 200-250 (for myself), so I had to choose between either 150-200 or 250-300 lol. Also, there is a gap between 300 and 400.

Just a little nitpick I voted 250-300

A couple times I pushed it into the 300+ range. I think the most is a tie between a GTS 640 and Palit's custom 8800 GTS 1 GB at about $385. I can't quite remember how well that worked out, I'm guessing the 8800 1 GB was sort of worth it cause matched the 9800 GTX refresh that came out after. Actually might have beaten it due to some die shrink latency issues. Now I'm holding myself in the $250 to $300 range. I got my 260 for $245. My 470 for $300, my second 470 for $233. I've been holding out for a 560 Ti 2GB but as opposed to my 8800 palit now uses truly awful PCB designs so I'm just sitting tight until 28nm.

I typically don't upgrade graphics every generation so that I can buy a high end card every time I do buy (after hunting out the best possible deal on the card I want). My last card was a 4870X2, and now I have a 580.

I usually buy the card that is right at the point where the next card up would be a gigantic leap in price for only marginal performance improvement. Recently that has been the $300 range.

For me

600 AUD for a SLI or Crossfire setup.

300 - 500 for Single Card if I were to get a single card setup it will definitely be a non reference card that has extra cooling and OC capabilities for a reasonable premium

Although I've spent 900 before for a GTX295 and 799 for a 5970 - both of which I ended up returning as I could not justify the costs.
