Recommend any good RPG game

Sonic's Ultimate Genesis collection contains the Phantasy Star and Shining Force series. Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale is coming to PSN May 31st. Chrono Trigger is coming to PSOne classics this year. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Risen 2: Dark Waters and Dark Souls are coming out this year.

If Xenogears is on psn will look for it if its released on EU psn(when psn will go back online). watched Crono Trigger 1 on youtube and must say game is what i was looking for because its my favorite style 2d map, walking around map waitin for encounter.Last game I played on such style was knights of xentar. thanks so much for all those good old games, will try to find em on torrents guess if its old will take a ime to download with not many seeders on it.

There is an updated ps2 emulator and it works realy good, So if you own a ps2 and some old games the emulator its worth trying out.

Suikoden 1 and 2 offer regular turn based battles and actual war battles between units. with 108 characters all with there own story backdrop skills and abilities its one of the first RPGs to grace the PS1 and was a great game 2 was even better but often overlooked.

I loved those games back when I had a PS1.

Drakensang the original one is good game all though the conversations are not all put in English so if you don't mind reading the games good. Be interested how well they did with the 2nd one too.

I'm hearing that it's better. I honestly couldn't really get into the first game for some reason. Maybe I should give it another shot with a different class one of these days.

yea i have that torrent also on my system

did need to fiddle with settings a bit to run

there is no chrono trigger 2and 3

theres Chrono Trigger an SNES game get THAT version. for emulation it runs better then the PS1 version PS1 has ridiculous loading sequences where as SNES does not Chrono Trigger on snes is just well better. i forgot the issues the game had on PS1.

Chrono Cross is the sequal to Chrono Trigger and is PS1 game

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned that Dungeon Siege III will be released for PS3 (as well as XBox and PC) in a month or so. That should be a pretty decent RPG. I think the jury is still out on whether or not the PS3 will get any Diablo III love (probably not).

Otherwise, Demon's Souls has pretty good reviews. There is also a "spiritual successor" to Demon's Souls in development called Dark Souls.

Well, yeah, but if they had never heard of Dungeon Siege before, they might not know it was RPG
But any game with the word "Dungeon" most likely caters to a certain style of gameplay. hehe

Looks like White Knight Chronicles 2 will be released this month aswell.Played 1st part of this game had a normal story didnt know even that there will be second part, might check it aswell.
