Tron Evolution - difficulty with the controls

Is this game playable with keyboard and a normal (ie not gaming) mouse?

My brother's been trying to play it, but whenever he needs to use the mouse to "rotate camera" or to "aim turret" it doesn't work, so he's stuck and can't progress in the game now.

Also, the white windows mouse pointer continually pops up around the screen ingame, which is distracting. I've googled the problem but found no solution so far.

Apparently it's a console port game... Can we get it to work?

Will have to try it out. Tron 2.0 was awesome and I want more Tron games.

The problem's exactly here, he can't aim the turret of the light tank by moving the mouse. Nothing happens when he moves the mouse as long as he's in the tank.

If the Windows cursor is appearing then there's something iffy going on with the game. What GPU does he have? Perhaps a driver reinstall is in order.

Also, any game can be played with any keyboard and mouse combination.

8800gt on 17" monitor, and he's using the driver released August 2010 (I think.. I have to go check) April 2011

I'll download the latest nvidia driver and try it out..

keep a backup, normally games will regenerate the config, alleviating some issues you have with controls

Dang I didn't even know this came out.. Looked at some reviews and they say it's not a very good game.. I was just about to buy it too. <3 Tron.. /sadface..
