Thermaltake Announces Tt eSports Commander MS-I Entry Level Case
Thermaltake, a leading brand in DIY computer chassis, is introducing their entry level mid-tower chassis. This new product comes with added features such as extra-long VGA support and cable-management. Users can wire their computer cables underneath the mainboard for enhanced ventilation; this chassis also holds premium VGA card, such as nVidia GTX590 and AMD Radeon HD6990, with ease. Two USB 2.0 connectors as well as HD audio microphone and earphone jacks are on the front bezel, integrating all major multimedia connectors within your hand’s reach. As an alternative and upgraded option, Thermaltake offers a USB 3.0 Super-speed version for transfer-speed seekers. This tool-free, all black Thermaltake Commander MS-I chassis offers a total of 9 drive bays for maximum storage expansion and 7 PCI expansion slots.
Inheriting the characteristics of the long line of Thermaltake chassis, special attention was paid to optimizing ventilation and airflow. Therefore, one 12 cm exhaust blue LED fan is installed in the back to warrant immediate heat dissipation. Additional airflow is driven by two ventilation holes on the right side panel and the top of the case. ![]() The foot-stand of the Commander MS-I elevates the computer, to allow for improved ventilation at the base, where the ATX PSII power supply is located. To prevent dust from finding its way into your power supply, a removable and cleanable dust filter is positioned underneath, providing users with an easy way to keep your treasured platform spick-and-span. |

They all look exactly the same (mostly ugly). At least they finally learned not to place stupid windows where the HDD bays are. That was butt ugly and they were pretty much all doing it that way.

its funny they often make a showcase, put a psu, mobo, hsf, all together but still hiding most of the cables to make it looks very neat and have good cable management.
if they want to put all part (mobo, vga, hsf, psu, hdd, dvdrom, etc..), at least shows us where the cable was so we can predict how mess it would be if we had non-modular psu.

Well look aside… I ask who would buy this as they call it "entry level case" and consider it for a GTX590 or HD6990? “Look how great my $550 Graphics card looks in this $50 chassis.”
At least one thing they might have got right is space between the mobo tray and side panel to hide wire looms “wire their computer cables underneath the mainboard”. While looks like they provide a good amount of holes and tie-wrap loops to route stuff. |

those pictures are almost big enough to see a case. I'm starting to not like all of these plastic looking cases with lights everywhere. I want brushed aluminum with no side panel that is silent and stylish.

Cover the TT sticker on the fan with a yellow circle and you have your self a fan which looks like a daisy.

You're not supposed to install downdraft coolers with the heatpipes doing an inverted "U" loop. It's performance will suffer because of that. You should only install them using a "U" loop or a "C" or inverted "C" loop.

Sort of frames Thermaltake's expertise perfectly doesn't it? I jest! Anyway, I found it hilarious that judging by the first picture on the main page I thought there was a door open for something like hot-swap bays, but it was just the orientation of the image of the strange geometry incorporated into the front fascia of the case. I'd also love to see what the inspiration behind that oddly shaped window was. A kite? A B-2 bomber?
