Yes on the edge of the table would fail, you need the height so use the wall.

Played all the time back then and I never heard of this device. Course I wouldn't have cared much cause back then I only gamed via keyboard. True old skool way of Doom and Marathon. Worked till after UT, then all the new games found ways to code out keyboard only use.

You know if there were wireless mice that didn't require batteries I would be with you. I already hate replacing batteries in the devices I have now as it is.

I might have to get one of these bungies, even my G9's cord seems to catch on stuff on my desk all of the time.

Try the MS Sidewinder X8, wirelss and can recharge while playing no need to change batteries, and up to 4,000 DPI.

Razer Mamba the 2012 model goes up 6,400 DPI

Seriously? I haven't found a single wireless mouse yet that actually doesn't have wireless lag, signal disruptions or plain old crap batteries.

Wireless mice still aren't ready for high-end usage, years and years after the first cheap wireless desktop sets came out. And if Razer would use the effort required to remarket a 15 year old product to attempt making a decent wireless mouse, it will still suck.

I used to use a little stand for hanging bananas - like this



It was a little lacking in stability and flexibility, but it basically served to keep most of the mouse cord immobile.

I has one. It's so uber awesome. 15 minute recharge 30 hour battery.
