I passed on it for Wii and I'm passing on this too. I remember Goldeneye being a great game, but I know that it doesn't hold up to today's games and replaying it will tarnish the memories I have of it.

All of the newer 007's use the same engine as COD, but they seem to usually try adding something to it, but don't put enough dev time into it and fail. So I don't see why this will be any different, unless they plan on throwing a bit more money at it just because it's a remake of the best 007 ever made.

Awesome for the N64. Helped shape modern FPS but it does have that COD look to it. I would love to try it for a little demo to see if its fun. Oh and Perfect Dark on N64 was an all time great if not more.

There where screenshots circling the internet but they confirmed the game a few days ago. Its a remake of the wii game which is a reimagining of the N64 game, its done with a new engine not just the wii version touched up.

Looks interesting but well i think i will wait for reviews.

Man. When I went into college, the N64 was just being released. My roommate was lucky enough to get one along with 4 controllers, Mario 64, and GoldenEye. The next 3 years, 4 guys on a couch and a couple bean bags played GoldenEye. Power weaposn. License to kill. In the Complex. We'd play to 30 and those games would be over in about 10 minutes.

I don't see this recreating that experience for me, unfortunately, so I'm likely to just hold onto my memories rather than try to relive them.
