I be a bit worried about buying refurb SSD's as most company's throw circuit boards away and not fix them. Hopefully they are just ones that had a bad\faulty flash.

I would do some real heavy research before buying that's for sure.

If Crucial certifies them as working correctly, I wouldn't be worried about it. Refurbishing is a very normal process, and I wouldn't find it hard to believe if a lot of companies simply do a product test and a repack, then sell them as "new" anyway.
