problem overclocking i5 2500 with asrock P67 pro

i cant overclock my core i5 2500k with asrock P67 pro stable, have tried to disable all c-states, have tried to raise pll voltage, a small overclock like 3.7 isn't stable, prime only runs like 5 minutes and the computer reboots and i get kernel power error in the log. any ideas?
